Photographer Sarah Daniels takes us on a trip to a bygone era then throws us into the juxtapose of modern day Hull in this interactive celebration of Alec Gill’s ‘The Hessle Roaders’ photography exhibition, in which he captured life on the road over a period of thirty years from 1971 to 2001.
The event, which starts with a discussion about Gill’s exhibition, will then see visitors escorted to Hessle road to capture photographs of the street inspired by the exhibition alongside Daniels.
Taking place on the 21 June at the Hull History centre, the interactive experience is organised by Heritage Learning and Hull History Centre and marks the final event in Heritage Learning’s season two programme.
The tickets for the event are £25 per person and can be purchased online, advanced bookings are essential.
