10:00 am - 3:30 pm
Artist Carolyn Short will be working with families at North Lincolnshire Museum on Saturday 22nd October 10:00- 3:30 to create a piece of art work that links to the Humber Museums Partnership, ‘Framed’ campaign.
It will also link to our half term theme Vampires and Villains. The finished piece of art will be on display in our learning zone and will create a back drop to our spooky activities over the October half term.
Children and their families will have the opportunity to draw and sketch spooky objects from our collection. Older children can sketch bones and fossils, there will be mirrors on the table for them to draw self-portraits and add on vampire teeth and moving eyes.
Our younger visitors will have the opportunity to mark make on paper on the floor to form part of the spooky backdrop. All of the children’s art work will be put in cardboard frames and mounted onto the spooky backdrop.
