Fuelling Flight

This exhibition celebrates Shells advertising campaigns, sponsorship and record breaking achievements in the 1930’s. The exhibition particularly focuses on the company’s endorsement of flight and women, coinciding with our festival theme. Shell provided the fuel for Amy’s record breaking solo flight to Australia in 1930.
