Lark Rise

Lark Rise is an exhibition of a recent set of new interpretative illustrations to the now classic work of English rural life Lark Rise to Candleford by wood engraver artist Sue Scullard together with a series of contemporary photographs (c1880-1910), newly printed from the originals. Additional material pertaining to the landed estate here at Sewerby explores rural life closer to home. Lark Rise runs from 16th September until 26th November 2017.
