Martha Cattell: The research and collections behind Turner & The Whale

This talk provides a unique opportunity to hear about the research behind the Turner & the Whale exhibition with co-curator Martha Cattell. Martha is currently in the final year of her PhD at the University of York, exploring the visual and material culture of whaling working specifically with the Hull Maritime Museum Collections. Hear about her current research findings and discover more about the fascinating whaling objects and paintings from the Hull Maritime Museum.
