Did you know that Thursday 2nd March 2017 is National Old Stuff Day?
This is a chance to declutter your attic and cupboards of anything unwanted and unneeded. It is also a day for nostalgia, reflection and appreciating the old and interesting. Donate the useful items to charity shops, and the more interesting finds to your local museum. For example, the banjo mandolin in the above image used to be in the possession of the Latimer Congregational Church on Grovehill Road.
The Beverley Guildhall accepts interesting Beverley related items at any time, but will be open especially from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday 2nd March. Admission to the event is free.
