Visit the Hull and East Riding Museum to discover the exciting world of Prehistoric Yorkshire.

Meet Prehistoric re-enactors in our gardens and learn about life before the Roman invasion, from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. See a metal-worker in action and find out how bronze tools were made, have a go at making your own pots with an expert potter, or get your face painted like an Iron Age warrior!

In the museum, explore our fascinating collections from the mysterious Roos Carr figures to the impressive Hasholme Boat, and join in an object handling session with our expert curatorial team. Or take a stroll through our galleries, from the famous collections of archaeologist JR Mortimer to our replica Iron Age village.
