Queer Voices in Museums is an annual digital symposium hosted by Hull Museums.
Hull Museums working in partnership with Arts Council England, are committed to LGBTQ+ representation within all that we do. We have been working on increasing the inclusion of LGBTQ+ narratives in our research, interpretation, and programming through new approaches to community engagement and co-curation since late 2019. For Queer Voices in Museums we invite expert guest speakers who work across the the country to help us think about how we can continue to bring Pride to our collections and help us show that we honestly and completely represent the communities around us.
