Waldemar Januszczak: My Adopted Painting

We are pleased to welcome The Sunday Times art critic and BBC presenter Waldemar Januszczak for a special event celebrating the work of William Dobson, one of the first notable English painters, whose work will return to the Ferens after restoration. This event will be accompanied by the music of William Lawes, who is believed to be the sitter in this portrait, performed by the Early Music Department at the University of Hull.
